Redex is a special dynamite, with an increased detonating velocity, which is produced by adding hexogen. Redex is primarily intended as an initial charge for Kemiittis and Anfos, to increase their highest possible detonation velocity and efficiency at the bottom of the hole. Because of its high detonation velocity, Redex is also suitable as a plaster shot.
The characteristics of Redex are equivalent to those of Pendex, which was formerly on the market, but Redex is more efficient due to higher energy contents and better detonation velocity.
